Community guidelines

These rules apply in every project space: GitHub Issues, pull requests and repository discussions.

Core principles

We're building the platform together. Well-argued criticism of ideas is welcome; personal attacks are not.

Not allowed:

• insults, demeaning remarks and hate speech
• harassment, impersonation, defamation
• deleting or sabotaging other people's contributions
• disclosing other people's personal data
• obscene content
• spam, phishing and destructive actions in the repository
• discussing software piracy

Violations may lead to action by the maintainers, up to a ban from the repository.

Issues and pull requests

• Clear title: the point is obvious at a glance
• One question per issue: a problem is not duplicated across several issues
• Language: English or Russian

Before opening an issue, read the FAQ and check existing issues.

Feedback

• Read the whole message before replying
• Use GitHub reactions instead of "+1" comments
• Put your thought in one comment rather than several in a row
• If a discussion drifts off course, open a new issue

Conflicts

Don't escalate a conflict. Describe the situation to the maintainers via GitHub Issues.
